Design Prescription for Public Health
We explore the mental health of the city dweller in the built world and the cathartic movement from being a wallet-on-wheels to an individual with fantasies, fears, and idiosyncrasies. We declare that the new insular live/work communities falsely urbanize suburban models of consumption. We insist on a methodology for living that preferences the intimate desires of the individual, that eschews sad notions of convenience and social adherence. If we cannot give people their lives back, we will then fantasize about how we would reclaim our own.
In collaboration with Sean Caffrey, Matthew Leach, and Gray Kiser.
